Energy Expenditure....

Our energy is everything! Being in relationships is a significant part of the human experience, involving an exchange of energy. Our relationships can reveal where we might not be in harmony with life.  We can then ask ourselves if we are or are not in an open flowing exchange. Our energy might be stagnant, lacking, chaotic, depleted, or even halted. By examining our relationships with everyone and everything, we can identify areas where we feel some turbulence in our system and most often never pause to question why. Relationships span all areas, including our interactions with the animal kingdom and our beliefs surrounding money, it's all energy. The most vital relationship is with ourselves—our bodies, thoughts, and minds. If we often feel fear or anger instead of love or joy, it indicates our energy isn't flowing with life.

I have often wondered, along with many others, whether we have the energy for various tasks and people. If we don't check in with ourselves before reacting or responding, we never truly become first on our list and have a hard time replenishing our own energy. If we can begin to take a pause and consider why we don't prioritize ourselves first, instead of constantly trying to fix, overextend, or set ourselves as a priority. We may begin to shift our energy expenditure!

Let's start by checking in with our own energy! Do I have enough energy for myself before agreeing to help others? When we fill our own tanks, giving becomes a natural part of living, as it results in an effortless energy exchange. If our tank is empty, it leads to a depleted exchange that doesn't feel effortless or align with our true selves.

By prioritizing our own energy, we ultimately honor everyone. If we don't start with ourselves, we're giving from a place of depletion, not from our true essence of love. When we are in a state of love, we simply need to be, without needing to do anything.

And the journey continues....

Love & Blessings,

Regina
