Walking through the Lion's Gate Portal

The cosmic door swings wide as the Lion's Gate Portal reaches its peak on August 8 (8/8). Active from July 28 through August 12, this annual gateway has long been honored in spiritual traditions as a time of heightened awareness, transformation, and manifestation. This year, I feel its call more deeply than ever.

The Lion's Gate is associated with the alignment of Sirius, often called our brightest spiritual star, with the Leo Sun and the Earth. Symbolically, this alignment invites us to awaken our inner light, step into our authentic power, and remember the sovereignty that has always lived within us. Rather than striving to become someone new, it is an invitation to return to who we have always been.

One of the most powerful ways to work with this energy is through the hara line—our line of intention and purpose. The hara is more than an energetic pathway; it is the axis that connects us to our soul's deepest knowing.

Take a few quiet moments to breathe. Imagine your inner sun glowing brightly, allowing its light to move through your heart and solar plexus while remaining deeply rooted in the Earth's core.
